Pedestrian critical following collision with TTC bus in Toronto’s west end

A man has been taken to a trauma centre via emergency run with life-threatening injuries after being struck by the driver of a TTC bus in Toronto’s west end, say police.

The collision happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the Bloorcourt Village area, near Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue.

Paramedics told CTV News Toronto that they transported an adult patient to a trauma centre with critical injuries.

Buses on the 63 Ossington bus route at ,currently not stopping near Ossington Station due to a collision, the TTC said in a post on X.

The investigation is ongoing.
