Police are looking for witnesses after a man was assaulted and left on side of Highway 401.
The OPP say the incident happened just before 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Police responded to a report that a man was being beaten along the westbound lanes of Highway 401, just outside of Guelph.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say a black Chrysler with tinted windows and a dealer plate, and a white Honda were seen in the area at the time.
Police are looking to identify the occupants of those vehicles.
