An OPP officer is in serious condition after a police cruiser was involved in a collision on a Highway 407 off-ramp.
The off-ramp at Dixie Road has been closed following the crash, which happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
According to the OPP, an OPP Tahoe cruiser was parked on the shoulder of the road and was struck from behind by a 407 service truck.
The cruiser was pushed a short distance.
The officer and the 407 employee have been taken to hospital. Both have suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.
