One person suffered burns to their hands after a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in the city's east end Saturday morning.

The blaze broke out inside a bedroom in a building on Dawes Road near Victoria Park and St. Clair avenues at around 8 a.m.

According to Toronto Fire, the blaze was contained to a single apartment, though the building did have to be ventilated as a result.

The cause has not yet been determined.
