Police have taken one person into custody in connection with a shooting in Scarborough Friday night.
The shooting took place near the intersection of Birchmount Road and St. Clair Avenue East.
The male victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The firearm has been recovered, police said, but the shooter is still at large.
