CHATHAM, Ont. - One person has died after an early morning crash on Highway 40 in Chatham-Kent.
Provincial police say a vehicle carrying two people was on the highway close to 3 a.m. when it left the road and rolled before coming to rest in a ditch.
Police say one person was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The second person in the car was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating.
