An Oakville, Ont., woman is dead after she was ejected from her SUV on Highway 404 Sunday morning.
The deceased woman, 41, was driving northbound through the City of Markham in a white 2014 Honda CRV when her vehicle struck a Suzuki sedan, entered the centre ditch, and rolled over onto the southbound lane.
OPP say the Suzuki also entered the ditch, but no one else was injured.
Witnesses told OPP that the SUV was “travelling erratically prior to the collision,” which occurred around 9:30 a.m.
Parts of the highway between Stouffville Road and Elgin Mills Road East were closed for the investigation, but reopened around 1 p.m.
