Sudbury police calling Donovan neighbourhood fire arson

Residential fire on Frood Road in Sudbury's Donovan Neighbourhood.

SUDBURY — Sudbury police and firefighters cleared the scene of a residential fire on Frood Road, Monday evening.

Police say the fire was contained to a single unit in the Frood Road apartment building and that the incident is being treated as Arson.

The Greater Sudbury Police Criminal Investigations Division and the Ontario Fire Marshall are investigating.

The area was blocked off to traffic for several hours Monday evening and re-opened around 9:30pm.
