Bad weather closes Hwy. 17 west of Sault Ste. Marie

Severe winter weather has closed Highway 17 at Goulais River.

Ontario 511 said in a social media post that the road closed early Tuesday afternoon.

The road is closed in “both directions between Highway 101 (in) Wawa and Sec Highway 552 in Goulais River,” the post said.

“All lanes closed.”
