NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. - Police have identified a 19-year-old Toronto man who drowned Sunday in a creek in Niagara Falls.
Zelgie Hashimi was reported missing, somewhere in the area of the Kingsbridge Park, which is located in the Chippawa area of Niagara Falls.
Police were later notified that Hashimi was last seen swimming in Chippawa Creek.
An extensive search of the creek beds and waterways was conducted and Hashimi's body was located at the bottom of Chippawa Creek.
