Weekend Weather

Dana Levenson has been a member of the CTV Toronto News Team since January, 2000. A versatile team member, she can report on everything from sports to breaking news. In early 2010, Levenson moved into a new role as Weekend Weather Anchor for CTV NEWS AT SIX and CTV NEWS AT 11:30 p.m.

Levenson graduated from Western’s Film Studies program as well as Ryerson’s Radio and Television Arts program. Immediately after graduation, Levenson traveled to New York City to pursue an internship at CBS, where she worked with Dan Rather. From there, she moved back to Toronto and worked as a story producer at The Women’s Television Network and as an anchor for The Weather Network before coming over to CTV Toronto.

While at CTV Toronto, Levenson broke the story of unsterilized medical equipment being used at the Lakeridge Health Centre, a story that was later reported across Canada. She has also reported from the red carpet at several Toronto film festivals and interviewed stars such as Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Matt Dillon.

Levenson grew up in Toronto and lives here with her two young sons. She is proud to be a part of the station she grew up watching.
