York Region police say they've seized a large quantity of marijuana at an indoor grow-op in Markham.

They say the began investigating last month after getting a tip.

More than one-thousand marijuana plants, along with other grow operation equipment, were seized.

Thirty-five-year-old Cam Tieu faces charges that include production of a controlled substance and theft of electricity.
