Risk of frostbite as frigid weather continues in Montreal

Chilling temperatures greeted Montrealers early Wednesday morning, though Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) says a sunny day is in store to compensate for the cold.

Anyone heading outside should bundle up tight to avoid a risk of frostbite.

The high is slated at -12 degrees Celsius with wind chill making it feel like -28 in the morning and -18 in the afternoon.

By Thursday, ECCC says temperatures should rise to minus 8 degrees Celsius with wind chill making it feel closer to -17 in the morning and -11 in the afternoon.

Things are looking warmer as we approach the weekend, hovering closer to freezing, though there may be periods of snow.
