PETERBOROUGH, Ont. -- A young woman is dead after falling from a parking garage in Peterborough, Ont.
Police say the 20-year-old local woman fell from the fourth floor of the garage at the Simcoe St. city bus terminal at about 1 a.m.
The woman suffered severe head and back injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.
Staff Sgt. John Lyons says investigators are interviewing witnesses and family to try and piece together what happened.
The woman's name has not been released.
