MISSISSAUGA - A car accident on a Mississauga highway has left one man dead and one woman in hospital with serious injuries.
A Volkswagen driving eastbound on Highway 403 lost control and struck a guardrail early Sunday morning.
The car went into the ditch and rolled over, throwing the driver out of the vehicle.
Marko Stefanovic, 33, from Etobicoke was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger, a 28-year-old woman from Mississauga was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues.
