Toronto police have released more video of "persons of interest" from the fatal shooting at the Little Ochie bar and restaurant at Lawrence Avenue and Kennedy Road.

The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. on Feb. 28, leaving Kaser St. Louis as the city's 10th homicide victim.

"Last Thursday, I presented video which captured an assault between at least 10 young men and began inside the bar area of the Little Ochie restaurant," Det. John Biggerstaff of the service's homicide squad told reporters at a Tuesday news conference.

"This assault continued outside into the parking lot where eventually the deceased, Kaser St. Louis, was shot to death."

Biggerstaff say police have isolated two individuals from the current footage:

  • Black male, 20 - 30 years old, 5"6" - 5'8", medium build, short, black hair, mustache and goatee, wearing 3/4-length two-tone jacket, sleeves different colour than body and an oversized hoodie
  • Black male, 23 - 30 years old, 5'11" - 6'3", 3/4-length black coat over white designer shirt with possible brand name of Roca Wear, plus thick dark scarf, jeans and red-soled running shoes

"This subject sustained a significant laceration to the head which may have required medical attention," Biggerstaff said.

Police still haven't had any witnesses step forward to say what happened at the Little Ochie bar, he said.

"With the public's assistance, we are confident that the individuals in this video can be identified, and the accounts of their actions can be investigated," Biggerstaff said.

Any of the 10 involved in the fight are encouraged to seek legal representation, but the focus of police is on the murder, he said.
