Police have arrested a man they suspect fired a gunshot at his child's christening party.

The shooting occurred Sunday night in the Victoria Park and Eglinton Avenue area.

A suspect fired the shot from outside the restaurant after he stormed out during an argument. The shot went through the window, injuring two people. They suffered minor cuts and are expected to recover.

Police Const. Kamran Saeed said at this point, investigators are not sure if the people were injured by fragments of the bullet or flying glass.

Police caught up with a suspect a short time after the shooting.

Burt Willis, who will turn 27 on October 11, is facing six weapon-related charges, including two counts of endangering someone's life.
