Two men named as persons of interest in a homicide investigation have been cleared.

The men, pictured in a surveillance video of a parking lot near Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue West, came forward to police over the weekend.

Neither men are of interest to detectives investigating the death Nate Thompson, said Toronto police constable Tony Vella.

Police believe the 26-year-old, who was shot to death on July 30, was targeted, but they stopped short of suggesting the murder is gang-related.
