Police are looking to speak with anyone who boarded a Toronto harbour cruise ship last night after two people were killed following a fight on the boat.

Toronto police say they were called to 242 Cherry Street last night near the Polson Pier just before 2:30 a.m. after a multiple stabbing.

Two men were involved in a fight that started aboard the boat but then spilled out into the parking lot once the ship docked.

One man, identified by police as 26-year-old Andy James, was stabbed and rushed to hospital by his friends but he was pronounced dead soon after arriving.

Brandon Ramdeen, 27, was transported to hospital by ambulance but he also died of his stab wounds.

Two suspects have been arrested in the case and were expected to appear in court Monday morning for a bail hearing.

Edwin Modeste, 37, and Kimron Bengy, 19, have each been charged with second-degree murder.

Police are asking those who were on the cruise to call police at 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS.
