Two men face a combined 25 charges after being arrested in connection to a violent forcible confinement investigation.

Toronto police said two men were arrested after a 24-year-old man was taken to a house in the Kipling Avenue and Kingsview Boulevard area on Monday.

The man allegedly drank alcoholic beverages before he was repeatedly beaten and stabbed in his hand, leg and head over the course of the night.

The man escaped on Tuesday and fled the scene.

Police executed a search warrant on a home in the area on Tuesday and seized an assortment of drugs and money.

According to a press release, police seized one pound of marijuana, a quantity of ecstasy pills, one ounce of khetamine, 10 grams of methamphetamine, 20 grams of cocaine and $20,000 in cash.

Saeb Khalili-Arabi, 31, of Toronto, has been charged with 14 offences related to assault, intimidation, forcible confinement and drug possession.

Christopher Rojas, 28, of Toronto, has been charged with 11 offences related to assault and drug possession. He also faces two charges of failing to comply with probation.

The accused were scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Wednesday.
