PARRY SOUND, Ont. - Two people have died in a traffic accident Saturday on Highway 69 near the community of Pointe au Baril in Muskoka.
Ontario Provincial Police say a pickup truck tried to pass two camper vehicles but was forced to swerve to miss an oncoming Sport Utility Vehicle.
The SUV then hit one of the campers head on.
Police say both occupants of the SUV died of their injuries.
Two occupants from the pickup and two people from the camper that was struck were taken to hospital with injuries that are described as non-life threatening.
