TORONTO -- A 53-year-old man is facing numerous charges in what Toronto police are describing as a historical sex assault case.
Police say the man befriended a 12-year-old girl and her family between 2010 and 2012.
Police allege he went on to sexually assault the girl multiple times.
Guy Roberts of Toronto was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
