A fire at a business complex on Sheppard Avenue East last month was deliberately set, police say, and now investigators are looking for three suspects caught on a security surveillance tape.

Toronto police say they arrived at the building just before 3:30 a.m. on March 17 to find a textile store at 4569 Sheppard Ave. E. completely engulfed in flames.

Their investigation has led them to believe it was arson.

In a security video released to the public on Wednesday, three suspects can be seen walking close to the premises right before there is a big burst of flames.

One of the suspects is seen holding a bottle.

The suspects are wearing baggy clothing with hooded jackets. The jacket of one of the suspects has a fur-lined hood.

Police are asking anyone with information to call investigators at 416-808-4200 or to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
