A driver has been airlifted to St. Michael's Hospital in critical condition after a serious crash Wednesday morning in Malton.
The crash involved three vehicles travelling along Goreway Drive, just north of Derry Road at around 7 a.m.
The driver of a black sedan suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed by air ambulance to the trauma centre at St. Michael's in downtown Toronto.
Two other ambulances were also spotted on the scene.
The crash drew a large crowd of spectators and blocked traffic in the area as police roped off Goreway Drive to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
