Toronto police have arrested a suspect who was stabbed in the early hours of Saturday after an apparent drug deal gone wrong.

Authorities say the 24-year-old suspect was allegedly selling drugs to three other individuals on Fontenay Court, near Scarlett Road and Eglinton Avenue West, when he was stabbed in the leg.

Police say the suspect fired a gun several times and the other three ran off.

The man was treated at a hospital and is now facing charges.
