SkyGreece Airlines cancelled three flights to and from Pearson Airport on Wednesday, just a week after a four-day delay at the same airport left hundreds of travellers stranded in Toronto.

The airline told its customers that the flights had been cancelled “due to operational reasons.”

Since the cancellations, SkyGreece’s Twitter and Facebook accounts have been taken down, sparking rumors that the airline had gone bankrupt.

Disgruntled travellers took to social media to express their frustration on a Facebook group called “SkyGreece Troubles.”

The company’s Boeing 767 was seen parked on the tarmac at Pearson Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

On Thursday, a SkyGreece flight that had been delayed for four days in Toronto finally set off for Greece.
