A seventh arrest has been made in the sexual assault case of a 12-year-old developmentally delayed girl.

Toronto police made the arrest as part of an ongoing investigation into a case where six other men and the girl's mother are all facing charges.

Eric Keating, 45, of Brampton, Ont. is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual interference. He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Six other men were charged earlier this month after a four-month investigation into alleged incidents which police say occurred at the mother's Toronto home.

Investigators believe the home in the Rexdale Blvd and Hwy. 27 area was a safe house for drug dealers and users.

Once inside the home, the men allegedly had sexual contacts with the girl on several occasions over a period between Nov. 2005 and Nov. 2006.

Police also allege the young girl was force-fed crack cocaine and other drugs.

The girl's 42-year-old mother is facing the rarely laid charge of corrupting a child. Police waited a long time to lay the charge because they needed approval from the attorney general.

Identities for the girl and her mother have not been released by police.

Officers said the girl was placed in the custody of Children's Aid and is receiving therapy for her ordeal.
