Toronto police have released video footage from a security camera that shows two men shooting a pair of guns into a building on The East Mall.
The footage shows two suspects walk up to the building at 615 The East Mall, open a door and then open fire. The first suspect is seen crouching down as the second suspect shoots a gun over his head. After firing several shots, the two men close the door and run from the scene.
The video was taken Friday afternoon shortly before police received a call about a 29-year-old man who was shot in the leg.
The man is expected to survive his injuries. A second person told police he was also shot at but was not hit by any bullets.
Authorities released the video footage in hopes of getting tips from the public that will help investigators identify the two suspects.
