A photo of a suspect accused of robbing a man at gunpoint in a Fort York apartment earlier this year has been released by Toronto police.

Police say that on Feb. 24, two men entered an apartment in the Bathurst Street and Fork York Boulevard area at around 11 p.m. and robbed a 20-year-old man at gunpoint.

The two men robbed the victim of jewelry, a cellphone and other personal belongings.

According to police, the victim and the suspects did not know each other.

One of the suspects was arrested in connection with the robbery on March 1, but the second man is still outstanding.

On Friday, police released a photo of the second suspect involved in the robbery. They are hoping that by releasing the photo, someone from the public will come forward with information leading to his whereabouts.

The second man is described as black, approximately 24 years old and standing five-foot-nine in height. He has a thin build, brown eyes, a shaved head, a pointy nose and a tattoo on his left hand.

Police say he is believed to be armed and dangerous.

The suspect arrested in connection with the case has been identified as 22-year-old Markham resident Reece Korchinski. He has been charged with forcible confinement, three counts of pointing a firearm, two counts of robbery with a fire arm and three counts of threatening death and assault with a weapon.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-1400 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
