Toronto police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a number of break-ins earlier this year.

Police say that a number of downtown residences were broken into between January and March.

Once inside, items including cash and electronics were stolen while the occupants of the residences slept.

A suspect, identified by police as 29-year-old Leonard Leslie, also known as Junior Leslie, is wanted for three counts of break-and-enter.

He is described by police as black, five-foot-seven to five-foot-10, 165 to 180 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.

Police say he is also known to wear a small nose ring in his left nostril.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
