KAWARTHA LAKES, Ont. - Provincial police say the body of a Toronto man has been recovered from a central Ontario lake.

Police say they were contacted on Monday afternoon after cottagers rescued two young boys who were floating in Lake Dalrymple.

The boys were wearing life-jackets and were uninjured apart from being cold and tired.

The boys had gone out on the lake earlier in the day with their father and investigators found their boat drifting near the east shore of the lake.

A search using two boats and a helicopter were unable to locate the father before Monday night's search was suspended due to darkness.

The body of 39-year-old Kosmas Vellianis was located Tuesday morning in about seven metres of water.
