Police hunt for sexual predator in east-end

A 29-year-old was sexually accosted by a man Sunday morning as she made her way home.

The woman was walking in the Danforth and Langford Avenues area around 2 a.m. when a man snuck up behind her, police said.

The man allegedly threatened the woman, telling her was armed. She struggled to get away from the suspect when he tried to pull her into a secluded area.

The woman was able to break free and run away, flagging down a passing vehicle. The suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as white but with a dark complexion, between 20 and 30 years old, about 5'10 with short dark hair. He was wearing a grey, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time.

Detectives with the Sex Crimes Unit are asking anyone who may have seen the suspect to call them at [phone] or leave an anonymous tip at Crime Stoppers, [phone].
