Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot outside a Mississauga strip club on Sunday in the early morning.
Peel police responded to a call just after 2:30 a.m. at the Midway Invader Club around Dixie and Derry roads. The shooting happened outside the establishment, according to Peel police spokesperson Cst. Rachel Gibbs.
Peel Paramedics said a man, 33, sustained a single gunshot wound. The man was rushed to a trauma centre in serious condition, but is expected to make a full recovery.
Police continue to investigate.
The suspect was described as a black male with light complexion. He was also described as being around six-feet-two inches tall and was wearing all black. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
