A pedestrian is in life-threatening condition after being hit by a vehicle in Markham this morning.
York Regional Police say the pedestrian was struck near Warden Avenue and Alden Road shortly before 7 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
Police have closed Warden Avenue in both directions at Alden Road. They expect the closure to last for several hours while the Major Collision Unit investigates.
