ELLIOT LAKE, Ont. - An alleged threat on a social networking site has resulted in a charge against a northern Ontario woman.
Provincial police say they began an investigation after receiving a complaint of a possible threat on Oct. 15.
Police say the complainant had received the alleged threat through Facebook.
Amanda Young of Elliot Lake, Ont., is charged with uttering a threat to cause death and bodily harm.
The 18-year-old is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on Dec. 7.
