A man believed to be in his 40s is dead after a shooting in Toronto's west end on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to a house on Symington Avenue, in the area of Davenport Road and Landsdowne Avenue, shortly before 6 p.m.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the man was in the house with two others when he was shot, but no one else was injured.
The homicide unit is canvassing the area for witnesses and security video to aid in the search for at least one suspect.
