A Brampton, Ont. family who was driving west across the country was reported missing on Saturday, weeks after they were last heard from.

Peel Regional Police said Jacqeline Davis and her three children were last seen in Brampton on Aug. 27 when they departed for Calgary.

The 44-year-old woman had contacted someone in Brampton on Aug. 30 to inform them they were in Winnipeg, police said

Davis did not have a set arrival date, police said, and they do not know if she was driving to Calgary to visit a friend or to re-locate.

Police said no foul play is suspected but because of the length of time that has passed since Davis was last heard from, a concerned friend contacted police on Saturday.

Police said Davis was driving a silver 1998 Ford Taurus with Ontario licence plates BMJH 247.

Davis is described as five-feet-five, 145 pounds with black hair above her shoulder. Her three children are:

  • Fydney, 9
  • Jalen, 7
  • Caleb, 5
