A Mississauga man has died after he was stabbed during an argument early Friday evening.

Police and paramedics were called to a park near 1290 Rathburn Road West in Mississauga around 5:45 p.m. Friday after an argument turned violent.

They found 22-year old Farhan Ali Omar with stab wounds, and rushed him to a Toronto hospital.

His conditioned worsened overnight, and he was pronounced dead at 4:35 a.m. Saturday.

Tristan Landriault, 20, of Brampton was arrested near his home and was scheduled to appear in court Saturday on murder charges.
