MILTON, Ont. -- Police say a Milton man is dead after being crushed while working under his vehicle.
Halton police say they were called to a garage at a Milton home just after noon on Tuesday.
Investigators say a jack stand failed while the man was underneath his vehicle causing it to fall on him.
The 37-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the victim's name will not be released.
