Hollywood actor Will Smith, who's in town for the filming of "Suicide Squad," showed "the 6" some love recently in a photo that features Toronto's iconic CN Tower.

Smith -- who plays the character Deadshot in the action movie that also stars Jared Leto, Ben Affleck and Margot Robbie -- posted the photo to his Facebook account on Wednesday.

"Chillin in the hotel. Lovin' the 6," said Smith, referring to the nickname Toronto-born rapper Drake gave the city.

It's unclear what the origin of the name is, but some suggest that it may refer to Toronto's area codes, 416 and 647. Others have also guessed it references the city's amalgamation of six areas: Toronto, Scarborough, North York, East York, York and Etobicoke.

The photo, which has been shared more than 7,300 times and has been "Liked" nearly 840,000 times, shows Smith sitting by a window with the CN Tower soaring in the background.

Based on the DC Comics series, the "Suicide Squad" is about a team of supervillains who are recruited by a secret government agency to carry out a dangerous mission in exchange for lighter sentences.

Last month, a portion of Toronto's Yonge Street was closed for an overnight shoot that saw the Batmobile chase the Joker's purple sports car up the normally busy artery.

"Suicide Squad" is expected to be released in August 2016.
