Police in Hamilton have arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal stabbing over the weekend.

Three men were stabbed early Saturday morning during a bachelor party on Weir Street, in Hamilton's east end. One man succumbed to his injuries.

Christopher William Miller, 22, died shortly afterwards. He had stumbled out of the home where the party was being held and collapsed not far away.

The two other victims were taken to an area hospital and are expected to recover.

Hamilton homicide detectives interviewed some of the people who were at the party and canvassed homes in the neighbourhood for witnesses.

They arrested a suspect Saturday night but police say they expect to make further arrests.

Robert Alexander Baldwin, 22, is charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault.
