Hundreds of adults and children gathered at Nathan Phillips Square Saturday afternoon and let loose on each other with pillows.
The rules of the annual urban pillow fight, organized on Facebook, were simple: show up at 3 p.m., bring only soft featherless pillows, be careful not to break cameras and eye-glasses, and don’t leave your pillows lying around.
The Toronto event was one of dozens of “World Pillow Fight Day” events around the world. Other cities participating this year include Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont., Madrid, Berlin and New Delhi.
Here are some photos of the fun shared on the social media sites Twitter and Instagram.
