TORONTO -- Toronto police have charged a former softball and hockey coach in a child sexual assault investigation.

They say some of the children were sexually assaulted for several years and believe there may be other alleged victims.

Police have arrested a man they say volunteered one decade ago as a softball and hockey coach for Toronto-area children.

David Johnson, 64, is charged with four counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

He's due in court Tuesday.
