A 34-year-old man is dead after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a hydro pole in the city’s west end.
The incident occurred after 4 a.m. Sunday near Old Weston Road and Rogers Road, just east of Keele Street.
Police allege the driver was involved in a “fail to remain” incident earlier in the morning.
The driver was not being pursued at the time of the fatal crash, police said.
Toronto police’s Traffic Services division is investigating.
