Cyclist fatally struck near Whitchurch-Stouffville

A cyclist has been pronounced dead after being struck by a vehicle near Whitchurch-Stouffville, York police confirm.

It happened at around 12 p.m. near Elgin Mills Road and the York-Durham Line.

No other injuries were reported.

Elgin Mills Road is closed at Ninth Line as police investigate.
