The attack occurred on Friday on a path that leads from the Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School to the York Mills subway station on Yonge St.

The suspect approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her. The girl resisted and the man fled.

Police have described the man as having a dark brown complexion, between 25-30 years old, 5'9 – 5'11", with a medium build. He was balding with short black hair and unshaven. He was wearing a black track suit.
