NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. - Niagara regional police say officers executing a child pornography warrant on Thursday stumbled onto a marijuana grow-op.

Detectives were involved in an online investigation into the possession of child pornography and making it available to others over the Internet.

While executing a search warrant at a Niagara Falls home, police say a marijuana grow operation was detected and officers called in the guns, gangs and grows unit to assist.

A number of computer systems and peripheral devices, marijuana plants, and other items used in marijuana production were seized.

Brendan Cullen is charged with possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography.

Cullen also faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance and is to appear in St. Catharines court on Friday.
