A man has been taken to hospital after the vehicle he was travelling in jumped a curb and crashed into a school in Rexdale Thursday night.
Police were called to St. Dorothy Catholic School, near John Garland Boulevard, at around 9 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash.
Officers say a grey Chevrolet Equinox jumped the curb and was going the wrong way down a one-way street before it crashed into the school.
Police say two people were in the car at the time of the crash.
A male occupant in his 20s man was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with unknown injuries while the second occupant fled on foot.
Police are investigating the incident.
