Boy, 7, suffers life-threatening injuries after falling from third-storey window

A 7-year-old boy is in life-threatening condition after he fell from a third-storey window of a home Thursday evening.

Police say the incident happened in a residential area near Birchmount Road and Finch Avenue East.

The child's parents were at home when the boy fell. Police say he suffered serious injuries to his left shoulder area.

The boy's parents took him to Scarborough Grace Hospital, where he was airlifted to the Hospital for Sick Children.
