BARRIE, Ont. - Police searched a Barrie park Tuesday for evidence in the 2007 slaying of 33-year-old Alexandra Flanagan of Barrie.

Officers searched Sunnidale Park for about three hours, but investigators say they are not releasing results of the evidence search.

Flanagan was reported missing on July 9, 2007, and her skeletal remains were found on Oct. 4, 2007, in Lackie's Bush by a woman walking her dog.

Andrew Keene, 29, of Innisfil was arrested last month and charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a dead body.

Since the discovery of Flanagan's body, police have searched several areas in Barrie, including a marine search last month in Kempenfelt Bay.

Police have not said how Flanagan died or released results of previous searches.
